Q: How does Coach Carroll encourage REAL life exercise & healthy habits?

A: Members can visit the “Fit-Club Warm Up Room” to read “Coach’s Challenge” which is a message from Coach Carroll encouraging them to do something in real life like throw the football with a friend for 30 minutes or eat Broccoli! Then, we send an email to the parent asking for confirmation that their child met Coach’s Challenge and therefore deserves to earn extra tokens inside the world.

Q: How does Coach Carroll make sure kids don’t spend too much time online?

A: If kids play the game too long, Coach pops up on the screen and tells them to go get some exercise! All of the videos in the game encourage kids to live an active lifestyle and get exercise by practicing what they have learned inside the camp.

Q: What makes CampPete.com different from Club Penguin, Webkinz and the rest?

A: Coach Carroll’s virtual world is different. He puts health and learning first. CampPete.com has all the main features those other worlds have – chatting, games, virtual currency and custom avatars – but it also has videos from Coach Carroll teaching nutrition, exercise and teamwork. Plus members of CampPete.com can learn football basics appropriate for kids as young as age 5 as well as more advanced football techniques for older kids. Coach Carroll is committed to creating a real learning experience, not just a video game.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Kids can play the game for FREE! They can explore the world, chat with friends, design their own Locker, play games and earn Touchdown Tokens. The upgraded “MVP Membership” (which costs $6.95 per month) is a paid service that unlocks even more games and lets kids spend their Touchdown Tokens to buy cool virtual gear to dress up their avatar. Plus, MVP Members can earn MVP Points for a chance to win special prizes from Coach Carroll.
